Top 7 Questions People Have About Driving School

Learning how to drive can be exciting and intimidating at the same time. At 911 Driving School, we have the best instructors and curriculum to help your teen learn to drive safely and successfully pass their driver’s test. Here are the top seven questions people have about our Monroe driving school:

1. What’s the Difference Between Your Teen Driver Adult Driver Courses?

In today’s fast-paced and technology-driven world, it can be challenging for your teen to learn everything they need to pass their driver’s test and get their license successfully. At 911 Driving School, we separate our teen and adult driving courses.

Our teen driving course is designed to keep your teen engaged in the material they need to learn. By keeping them interested in learning the rules of the road, we may increase their chances of passing their tests and becoming safe drivers.

Students will feel comfortable in our teen driver course because they learn alongside peers their own age. Parents can feel confident their teens will learn how to become responsible drivers.

2. How Do I Know Which Teen Course To Choose?

Teens come to 911 Driving School with varying levels of behind-the-wheel experience and knowledge. We offer three different levels of courses to meet your teen at their current driving level. Parents can choose the course that fits their student’s exact needs.

The Basic Course

Our Teen Driving Basic Course teaches the foundations of safe driving. Students will get all the classroom instruction and behind-the-wheel training required by the state. This course is best for students who don’t need extra driving practice or instructor support.

The Conventional Course

The Teen Driving Conventional Course is best for students who need additional driving practice. It includes the same classroom instruction as the Teen Driving Basic Course. This course increases your teen’s behind-the-wheel training time with one of our experienced instructors.

The Advanced Course

Our Teen Driving Advanced Course is best for students with little to no experience driving and who need extensive driving practice. The classroom experience is the same as our other two courses.

Your teen will get even more behind-the-wheel training than the Teen Driving Conventional Course. This course provides the most instructor-led behind-the-wheel training time.

3. Are the Instructors Qualified?

911 Driving School hires only the most qualified driver’s education instructors. Every instructor at 911 Driving School is a police officer, firefighter, or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).

Our first responders are fully qualified to teach safe driving skills to your teen.

4. Are Classes Flexible?

Finding time to squeeze driving lessons into your family’s busy schedule can be difficult. At 911 Driving School, we offer convenient classes throughout the year. We have many drive times available, and you can easily schedule a drive online.

5. How Do You Prepare My Teen to Pass the Written Test?

We have several ways to help your teen pass the written test at 911 Driving School. The top three things we have available to help your teen prepare include:

  1. 24/7 access to the Washington Driver Guide
  2. Engaging classroom lessons
  3. Online practice tests

We want your teen to pass the written test successfully, so instructors are available to answer any questions your teen might have when learning driving rules.

6. How Do You Prepare My Teen to Pass the Driving Test?

Our instructors teach your teen to learn how to drive using a progressive system. We teach the basics first and then work up to the more complex skills. Behind-the-wheel training is necessary for your teen to pass their driving test.

Your teen will need to practice outside of scheduled drives with an adult, like a parent. 911 Driving School instructors will provide feedback following each scheduled drive so you and your teen know which skills to practice.

7. Do You Have Other Resources to Help My Teen with Driving School?

911 Driving School wants to make sure your teen is well prepared to take their driving test. We have many online resources to help your teen throughout the learning process. Some of the resources we have available include:

  • Steps to Getting Your First Permit
  • DOL Practice Test
  • Drivers Guide (in English and Spanish)
